Visiting Professor Job Posting

The Psychology Department at Grand Valley State University invites applicants for a one-year visiting position for the 2019-2020 academic year. The successful candidate will teach 4 undergraduate classes per semester in Introductory Psychology and Research Methods. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in psychology or be near completion of a Ph.D. This is a full-time, academic-year, visiting position, with a one-year initial appointment. There is a possibility, but not a guarantee, that the position will continue beyond one year.

Visitors have access to shared laboratory facilities and equipment, as well as a subject pool. GVSU has a large and diverse group of 43 full-time psychology faculty members who engage in teaching and research in all areas of psychological science. Visitors have the opportunity to continue their research and to collaborate with faculty and/or undergraduate students.
