Dr Mikhila Wildey recieves Pew Teaching Excellence Award
Mikhila Wildey is a passionate educator who uses multiple approaches in her instruction and evaluation to engage students, not only in traditional classroom settings but also in the psychology practicum course she teaches. Built upon her research and clinical psychology training, Wildey brings her courses to life by providing opportunities for students to apply the course material to their lives and to the lives of those around them. One student notes, “A well-timed conversation with her … changed the entire trajectory of my undergraduate and graduate education because of her enthusiasm for career exploration … directly or indirectly related to psychology. She exudes passion and positivity.”
