Research Interests

My latest research focuses on studying the impacts of intergenerational interactions on both students and older adults. The specific forms of interactions include: 1) one-on-one co-mentoring between a student and an older adult, and 2) group-based activities such as story circles, seasonal outings, conversational cafés, and craft-making sessions, through which older adults and students can converse and share experiences.  Semi-structured interviews and surveys are conducted to evaluate the effects of these intergenerational interactions.
