No May Prospective appointments
We will not be processing Prospective student appointments during the month of May. Please feel free to still fill out the form and we will process it in the beginning of June and reach out to schedule an appointment.
If you've been accepted and have decided to attend GV in the upcoming school year, please schedule your orientation with the admissions office.
Please follow the 2 steps below to request an appointment with an Engineering advisor.
These one-hour appointments are held in person at our Grand Rapids office or virtually over zoom.
Prospective Students include students who are:
- Interested in transferring into GVSU from a different college
- Interested in attending GVSU as a first year freshman with program questions
- Returning to GVSU after taking time away or being dismissed

First, fill out the Prospective Student form below detailing the reason you'd like to speak with an advisor & your availability.

Next, once we receive the filled out form, we'll email you with appointment date and time options.
In the meantime, please collect unofficial transcripts from any college institutions you've attended. Advisors will review these ahead of your appointment.
