Soccer Drumline Information

The GVSU Women's Soccer Drumline tight-knit ensemble that provides a unique element to all games! From the non-stop performing during the game, we pride ourselves with bringing an electric atmosphere to every performance. Members are paid for their participation and may have the opportunity to travel in the post-season! Women's Soccer Drumline is not a class and any GVSU student is welcome to audition! 

Instrumentation: 2 Snares, 1 Tenor, 1 Cymbals, 2 Basses

Stipend: 2026 - $390/per member

2026 Women's Soccer Drumline Guidelines & Schedule

Substitution Policy
Member is responsible for providing sub that is approved by Prof. John Martin. The sub must be able to play your assigned part. The member must pay the sub $30 for the game. 

 Sub-Contract Form 

  • The Final Women's Soccer Drumline Roster will be submitted to the Music, Theatre, and Dance Office.
  • Each Volleyball Pep Band will be "hired" and each member will receive an email from GVSU Workday requesting you to complete the hiring process that includes completion of the Federal I-9 Form.
  • The Federal I-9 form must be completed/submitted by September 11. You can obtain the forms at https://www.gvsu.edu/studentjobs/forms-4.htm
  • Students cannot work on campus until their I-9 and tax forms are submitted.
  • All of the necessary forms that students need to fill out can be found and completed in the Student Employment Office. They are located within the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships on the first floor of the Student Services Center on the Allendale campus. The office is open M-F from 8:00am - 5:00pm. Their number is (616) 331-3238.

Please note: If you have worked on-campus within the last 12 months, then you should have a Federal I-9 on file already. You can contact the GVSU Student Employment office to determine if you may need to fill out another form.
