Know Before You Go
Tips and tricks to ensure you have an amazing night!
- Save time and fill out the waiver in advance! Have it ready to show on your phone to get a wristband that allows you to participate in Laker Kickoff activities!
- Please use monitored crosswalks when you cross the road.
- Stay hydrated! Bring your water bottle and stay cool. (You can refill inside the Kirkhof Center all night long!) Bottled water will also be provided at the event while supplies last.
- Leave valuables back at your place. (But bring your student ID!)
- Lubbers Stadium has a clear bag policy. No bags over 12" x 12" x 6" will be permitted in the stadium. Check the list of approved bags here.
- Review the lawn party map ahead of time to plan your evening!
- Check out the Chill Zone (sensory sensitive area) for arts and crafts based activities and more
- Check out our line up of food trucks and have a plan for which line to hop in first!
($5 food truck vouchers will be provided. One per student while supplies last!)
- Bring a credit or debit card in case you want to purchase additional food items (after your food voucher is redeemed) and in case you'd like to purchase a custom t-shirt or tote bag! (while supplies last)
- Wear comfortable shoes!
- Charge your phone. You won't want to miss out on the various selfie moments!
- Visit the drone show and fireworks viewing area on the lawn for the best spot to check out the annual show! Please use monitored crosswalks when you cross the road.
