Maintenance for the Internet Connectivity system

GVSU Information Technology will perform scheduled maintenance on the university’s student and housing core network infrastructure during an overnight maintenance window on July 23, 2026 (12:00AM - 2:00AM).
This maintenance is to perform routine equipment software upgrades which will improve the security, reliability, resiliency, and performance of the student network services across the university.
When: Thursday, July 23, 2026 12:00 a.m.– 2:00 a.m.
Impact: Intermittent Internet access and access to Internet-based services while connected to campus student networks.
This includes:
Student, gaming, and visitor Wi-Fi networks in all campus buildings
Wired network connections in campus housing on city and valley campuses
Access to GVSU websites and online services from student campus networks
