Scheduled Overnight Network Maintenance July 8 - 9, 2026

GVSU Information Technology will perform scheduled maintenance on the university's core network infrastructure. This work will replace aging equipment and improve the reliability, resiliency, and performance of network services across the university.

Maintenance: Campus Network Services

When: 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 – 4:00 a.m. Thursday, July 9
Impact: Internet access and Internet-based services while connected to campus student networks

This includes:

• Faculty and staff Wi-Fi internet in all campus buildings
• Wired network connections in classrooms, computer labs, and offices  
• University applications that require GVSU Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Access to university services, websites, servers, and applications hosted on GVSU networks
• WGVU internet services 
• Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone services while connected to GVSU networks
• GVSU main web page will temporarily be unreachable. A maintenance message will be displayed

Note: This list is not exhaustive. Any service that relies on connectivity to or from the GVSU network may experience an interruption during this maintenance window.
