Lakers Without Borders Recipients
We greatly appreciate students' dedication to creating a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive environment at GVSU. As a gesture of our gratitude, the ISS team is awarding Lakers for the time they have put into helping out with programs by ISS and its daughter student organization, Uniting Nations (formerly Bringing Together the World). Students who volunteer 10 hours or more in an academic year can be certified as Lakers Without Borders.

“I love volunteering for international related activities as they give me the opportunity to meet new people and become friends with people all around the world. They also give me the opportunity to learn something new and is easily one of my favorite experiences that I've had at Grand Valley.”
