Winter 2027 | GVSU Housing Move-In & Airport Transportation

Any international students who are starting their first semester at GVSU this January, are eligible for our move-in service. Students must arrive to the Grand Rapids, Gerald R Ford Airport [GRR] on the designated arrival date and during the designated times which are as follows:

If arriving after 5pm on January 6, you will need to arrange your own temporary accommodation, transportation to campus, and move into your GVSU Housing yourself starting January 7. The latest you can begin your first semester at GVSU & move yourself into GVSU Housing is January 15.

Please note:

The earliest date first semester iStudents can move into GVSU Housing is January 6, 2027.
International Student Orientation is mandatory for all first semester International Students and takes place January 7 & 8, 2027.
If you arrive outside of our designated arrival date & times, you will need to arrange your own transportation.
The latest first semester international students can join GVSU is January 15. If you will be arriving any later than this, please contact Admissions at [email protected] to defer to a later semester.

Since you are arriving outside our designated arrival times, you may need to arrange your own temporary accommodation and transportation.
