Flight Details

All new International Students are asked to submit the details of their final arrival flight. Submitting complete flight itinerary is optional.

Airport Transportation by GVSU is not available for Fall 2023
Because of the number of students we are expecting to welcome, we are unable to provide airport transportation or coordinate it on your behalf. However, there are many safe options, including but not limited to:

a local taxi company such as Metro Cab (616) 827-6500 or Yellow Cab (616) 459-4646 (costs $60-70)
a transport app such as Uber or Lyft (cost varies)

We will also have GVSU International Student Services (ISS) representatives stationed at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport during the designated arrival dates to help guide you to ground transportation. They will be located near the Information Desk on Friday August 18, Saturday August 19, and Sunday August 20 from 11am to 5pm to assist new international students.
