International Visitor Form

International visitors coming to campus are reviewed by the Office of Research Compliance and Integrity (ORCI) to ensure the university abides by export control regulations. An “international visitor” is defined as a foreign national who is affiliated with or sponsored by a foreign academic institution, foreign government agency, or other foreign entity and who will be a guest on GVSU’s campus for a specified amount of time and for a specific academic or research purpose. This does not include undergraduate and graduate students, prospective students, participants and attendees at athletic events, and attendees of open conferences.

Please complete the form below BEFORE an invitation is extended to the visitor. To ensure adequate review time by the ORCI, this form should be submitted at least five business days in advance of the visit. For more information, please contact the ORCI at [email protected].
