Join us this summer!

The Kaufman Interfaith Institute is pleased to offer a virtual Summer Leadership Workshop on June 14-17, which is geared toward students currently in grades 8-12. These workshops will center on interfaith* leadership with daily themes that include navigating difficult conversations, environmental action, exploring power and privilege, and embracing mindfulness.

Each day will convene at 10:00am as an introduction to the day. Students will have a break from 10:30am -12:00pm to work on their projects/activities for the workshop and have lunch.

Projects might include building a composter with materials we provide, creating a collage of where you see your identity represented positively or negatively or taking pictures of places that bring you peace.

The workshop portion of the day will take place from 12:00pm -1:45pm on Zoom. We will have guided conversations, engaging lessons, and interactive experiences around the daily themes. We will wrap up each day by 1:45 pm.

Students are expected to join both the 10:00am-10:30am and the 12:00pm-1:45pm sessions of the workshop and to do their activities off-line during the time in between.

*  students of all spiritual, secular, and religious worldviews are welcome.
