Description
Our Cinematic Conversations affinity group is designed to foster
relationships about the shared experience of cinema. Within our
moderated discussions immediately following each movie, we hope to
cultivate a deeper understanding of our neighbors, our respective
faith traditions, and the art of film making.
Our next film is Eighth Grade
Film Synopsis: Thirteen-year-old Kayla endures the tidal wave of
contemporary suburban adolescence as she makes her way through the
last week of middle school—the end of her thus far disastrous eighth
grade year—before she begins high school.
