Location
Trinity Lutheran Church
Description
Please join our interfaith community for a morning of mental health
awareness and connection. Together we will learn more about caring for
our minds individually and collectively. Our Keynote speaker is Dr.
Cynthia Kok, MSW, PhD who will be speaking about mental wellbeing,
destigmatizing mental illness, and coping with today’s stressors (i.e.
2 years of a pandemic, political tensions, war). There will be
breakout sessions relating to anxiety, depression, how to find the
right therapy, suicide prevention and teen support as well as
experiential offerings
like walking a labyrinth and mindful
doodling! In addition there will be multiple organizations available
sharing valuable community resources. Childcare is available for
children 6 and under and must be indicated on this sign up by May
17th. We look forward to seeing you!
