Description

The Kaufman Interfaith Institute and Hauenstein Center at GVSU invite you to a lecture:

Rabbi Donniel Hartman, an Orthodox Rabbi from Jerusalem will dialogue with Imam Abdulah Antepli, the first imam at Duke University and now the chief representative for Muslim affairs at Duke. He also heads up the Muslim Leadership Initiative which takes American Muslim leaders to Israel/Palestine for dialogue with Israeli Jews. This issue is one of the major problems in both international affairs and inter-religious understanding. Finding common ground is a challenge but these two are seeking to understand and respect each other in the effort.

A reception will follow the lecture at 8:30 pm.

Space is limited.  At this time, registration is for overflow seating only.
