Bridging the Gap: Understanding the Needs of Our Interfaith Community
Date and Time
Thursday, November 19, 2015 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Description
This event features two options of sessions - people can attend either the morning session from 9:00AM-11:00AM or the second session from 3:00PM-5:00PM. Both will have speakers from the Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, and Buddhist perspectives.
Hospices need to do the best job that they can in creating a sacred space and we need to know as much as we can about all beliefs since we never know enough. Hospices are now talking with interfaith community about the aspects of hospice as well as culture. Designed to inspire, educate and connect; this no-cost event will explore how hospice organizations can provide the most respectful, most compassionate care possible.
