Description
Julie Kohner has been a Jewish educator for over 30 years, with a master’s degree in educational counseling. After Julie’s mother, Hanna, a Holocaust survivor, passed away in 1990, Julie created a program that would teach the history of the Holocaust to her 7th grade b’nai mitzvah classes. Her goal was to teach the Holocaust as seen through the eyes of her mother. This was the beginning of Voices of the Generations, a unique and personal approach to Holocaust education. Julie teaches the Holocaust through its impact on one family, from the millions devastated by those events of the Twentieth Century. Hanna and Walter's story lives on through their only child, Julie.
