Description
Join us from 1 - 1:45 pm for a Peace Walk in St. Francis Sculpture Garden on the front lawn of the Dominican Center at Marywood.
Following the walk, from 1:45 -3 p m, is the 8th Annual Interfaith Service commemorating the United Nations International Day of Peace.
This year we are also commemorating the 70th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Representatives of many faiths and philosophical traditions will speak briefly of how their groups promote peace and human rights. Music, art and and an optional Peace Walk will be part of the program.
An informal discussion and refreshments will follow.
