Grand Valley's Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Kaufman Interfaith Institute invites students to attend "Conversations of Color," which is an open, honest discussion about race, culture, identity, and current events. This month's topic is: "Beyond Paris and Beirut: Religion, Politics, and Race at Home and Abroad." 

Questions include but are not limited to:

- How should we react to incidents like Paris and Beirut?

- Why do we care about certain tragedies and not others?

- How do we balance our own security & protection with that of others?

- Where do we go from here?
