Make the most of one of the longest nights of the year with activities exploring how light is celebrated in cultures around the world! Organized in partnership with the Kaufman Interfaith Institute, this event for guests of all ages features representatives from several groups in our community, each sharing their culture’s emphasis on celebrating light.
Activities include creating light-up holiday cards, chatting with docents in the galleries about artwork inspired by light, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and interactive experiences led by the community groups from the Kaufman Interfaith Institute, including presentations on Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity, and the Bahá¼í Faith.
All activities and general admission are free, and registration is not required. Please note: General Museum admission does not include entrance to The Jim Henson Exhibition: Imagination Unlimited.
Location: Grand Rapids Art Museum
Cost: Free with general museum admission
