As part of its annual Durgotsav festival, WMBCA is proud to present a West Michigan first - One of its kind Cultural extravaganza showcasing the “Diversity of the Indian Subcontinent” through traditional dances and music from different regions of India and Bangladesh on October 24, 2015.
Great line up of highly talented international artists ready to mesmerize you with some unforgettable performances:
Sanjukta Banerjee: From Canada - An accomplished award winning choreographer and dancer will captivate you with her Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam and Kathakali presentations. Dance to her, is a language for communication and a tool for artistic execution of contemporary issues.
Shovan Ganguly with his live band: From India - Shovan & his live band will get your feet tapping to superhit Bollywood numbers. *WINNER* of the popular musical show “Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa” and a top finalist in X-Factor, is all set to enthrall the audience with his classically trained golden voice.
