This introductory workshop will explore the deep connections between equity and sustainability. Social equity is related to the distribution of resources - clean air, water, and more. Participants will discuss ways to center social equity within sustainable practices and will learn about opportunities to support this work.
Learning Outcomes - Participants will be able to:
- Deepen their understanding of the connection between equity and sustainability.
- Leave more prepared to discuss and engage in ways to advance equity and sustainability in practice.
