Biography 

Dr. Krauss joined GVSU in 2016.  Before that, he taught mechanical engineering and mechatronics at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville for 10 years.  He also has three years of experience as a safety test engineer for an automotive supplier.

BS, Mechanical Engineering, Michigan Technological University

MS, Engineering Mechanics, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University

Ph.D., Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology

Research:

Dr. Krauss’ research interests include engineering education, modeling of dynamic systems, feedback control, mechatronics, and robotics.
