Biography:

Courtney Aloul is an alumna of the OSH program and joined the faculty of GVSU in 2021 after ten years in the field. She worked in chemical, metal fabrication, carbon fiber automotive and insurance industries. During her time in industry, she implemented policies and training programs, managed workers compensation case management, fostered employee involvement and a proactive safety culture, and reduced injury rates to support her organizations and customers. She holds a Certified Safety Professional designation as awarded by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
