Since 2004, the Peter C. Cook Leader Academy has instilled leadership excellence in a select group of undergraduate and graduate students across the institution. The program is co-curricular and cross-disciplinary, offering our student fellow candidates unique opportunities for reflection, engagement, and learning with and from a diverse cohort of their peers throughout the academic year. Candidates are admitted to the Cook Leadership Academy for one or more years. Each applicant must meet the criteria of high academic achievement, active involvement in the campus community, dedication to the public good, a passion to lead, and a commitment to personal growth.

• The Hauenstein Center Educator Outreach program is meant to encourage participation in our programming by educators and students.
• Educators are welcome to join our members in attending the private receptions prior to our evening events. The reception runs from 5 pm - 6pm and includes drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres at no charge. You can indicate your interest in attending below.

The Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies has a long tradition of providing high-quality, impactful programming to West Michigan. General membership helps us continue to provide impactful programming that allows us to learn from the past, explore the issues in the present, and develop leaders for the future.
