Convocation to be webcast live August 23

Grand Valley President Philomena V. Mantella will participate in her first Convocation ceremony and address students Friday, August 23. Convocation is a celebration that marks the beginning of the academic year. It will be webcast live at 11:30 a.m. from the Fieldhouse on the Allendale Campus.

Grand Valley State University President Philomena Mantella took part in her first Board of Trustees meeting as president on July 12 in the Kirkhof Center on the Allendale Campus.  During the meeting, the board approved two new fields of study in high-demand engineering and computing fields.
