Area experts will discuss COVID-19 vaccinations during Health Forum

Area and state health care experts will discuss the rollout plan for COVID-19 vaccinations and provide updates during the February 5 Health Forum of West Michigan event.

The virtual event, "The COVID-19 Vaccinations — Update and Insights," will run from 8-9:30 a.m. Register online to receive a Zoom link.

Panelists are Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, senior public health physician for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services; Peter Haverkamp, director of pharmacy for Metro Health - University of Michigan Health; Keith Hustak, vice president APP Services/Operations for Spectrum Health; and Dr. Andrew Jameson, director of infectious disease for Mercy Health Saint Mary's. Dr. Nirali Bora, medical director for the Kent County Health Department, will moderate the discussion.

Health Forum of West Michigan events fall on the first Friday of each month. The series is sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan; partnering with the Office of the Vice Provost for Health are the Midwest Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research Center; MSU College of Human Medicine; and the Michigan Center for Clinical Systems Improvement.
