Notes:

• Payroll will populate holiday codes in Ultratime for standard schedules for the Professional Support Staff. PSS should review their Ultratime hours for the holiday and break schedule: December 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, January 1 - Holidays          

• Only prescheduled mail deliveries to offices working over the break will be made.               

• The heat in all buildings will be lowered to 50-55 degrees to maximize energy savings. No activities or events should be scheduled during this period.               

• Allendale Campus drives, parking lots and sidewalks will be adequately plowed to permit access to campus for staff. For special events, please notify Customer Service at the Allendale Campus at 331-3000 prior to December 14.               

• Pew Campus reserved lots and sidewalks will be adequately plowed. For special events at the Pew Campus, contact Facilities Management at 331-6700 prior to December 14.               

• For operating hours for athletic/recreation facilities, visit gvsu.edu/sportsfacilities; for athletics event information, visit gvsulakers.com.               

• The Information Technology Offices and Manitou Lab in Allendale will be closed during the break. Email and the campus computer network will remain online and attended.                 

• In Allendale, 24-hour security will be provided. Emergency calls can be made through Central Dispatch, 911, and non-emergency calls through Public Safety at 331-3255. If access to a building is required, prior arrangements must be made with the Department of Public Safety Office at 331-3255 before December 14.               

• On the Pew Campus, 24-hour security will be provided.  Emergency calls can be made through Grand Rapids Dispatch, 9-911, and non-emergency calls through Pew Campus Security at 331-6677 or 292-8052. If access to a building is required, prior arrangements must be made with the Pew Campus Security Department at 331-6677 before December 14. 

• Maintenance emergency response will be handled on the Allendale Campus by calling 331-3000. Staff will be dispatched as necessary. Faculty and staff at the Pew Campus, Muskegon Lake Michigan Center, and Holland Meijer Campus should contact Pew Campus Security at 331-6677.
