Move-In Week 2015: photos and video

Grand Valley State University President Thomas J. Haas and more than 600 students, alumni, faculty and staff members helped new and returning students move in August 23-27. A record-breaking 6,223 students are living on the Allendale and Pew Grand Rapids campuses this year. 

President Haas and his wife, Marcia Haas, served ice cream to families and new students on Wednesday on the Allendale Campus. 

Faculty and staff members will welcome the newest class of students during Convocation, a celebration that marks the beginning of the academic year, on Friday, August 28. The ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. in the Fieldhouse on the Allendale Campus.
