Grand Valley celebrates student employees

Grand Valley will celebrate the more than 4,000 student employees
who work on campus this year during Student Employee Appreciation Week
March 31-April 4.
Some of the largest employers of students on campus are Campus
Dining, Athletics, Facilities Services, Office of Student Life and the
Student Academic Success Center.
Events and activities include:
- Monday, March 31, Office Decorating and Photo
Contest: Students can win a pizza party for their office by decorating
their workplace and sending a photo to [email protected] by 1 p.m.
on April 1. Voting will take place online.
- Wednesday, April 2, Volleyball Tournament and
Hot Dog Roast: Students and their coworkers can compete for a trophy
and office lunch party by competing in the tournament. The Hot Dog
Roast will take place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. near Zumberge Pond and
University Club in DeVos Center.
- Thursday, April 3, Indulge Day: Student
employees are invited to indulge in ice cream sundaes and a
photobooth. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in room
2204 of the Kirkhof Center and University Club in DeVos Center.
- Friday, April 4, Night with the Griffins:
Tickets are $7 and $9 for guests, and can be picked up at the Student
Employment Office in the Student Services Building.
