Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy Calls for Applications and Nominations

Applications and nominations are now open for the 2022-2023 Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy (CLA) cohort. The academy is looking for excellent students seeking a high-impact initiative to develop their leadership and professional skills.

The CLA is a co-curricular leadership development program that enrolls 60+ diverse and high-achieving undergraduate and graduate students. Fellow student candidates experience a rigorous curriculum of training, assessment, and practice designed to instill leadership excellence.

Nominees and applicants can be from any academic major or year and do not need to meet any specific GPA requirements other than being in good academic standing. Students should demonstrate involvement in the campus community or other organizations—and should also be dedicated to the public good, passionate for leading, and committed to personal growth. Once a student is nominated, they will be notified by the CLA team to fill out the application. Both nominations and student applications are due by Monday, February 28, 2022. Nominations can be made on the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies' website, and students can submit their applications online as well.

More information on the Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy curriculum are available on their website.
