Welcome to GVSU's IFC Recruitment!

Looking to find your home away from home, build lifelong friendships, and grow as a leader? Joining a fraternity through the Interfraternity Council (IFC) at GVSU might be your perfect next step.
The IFC governs GVSU’s recognized social fraternities, fostering a welcoming, values-based community of men committed to academic excellence, leadership, service, and brotherhood. With various chapters to explore, IFC recruitment allows you to learn what each organization stands for and find the best fit for your college experience.
IFC Recruitment is open to all male-identifying students and is designed to be inclusive and low-pressure. Whether you're looking for opportunities to lead, serve the community, or build meaningful connections, there's a place for you in fraternity life.
Brotherhood and Lifelong Friendships: Become part of a close-knit community where brothers support you through thick and thin. The friendships you form in a fraternity last a lifetime and extend far beyond your college years.
Leadership and Personal Development: Fraternities provide numerous opportunities to take on leadership roles and responsibilities. Whether you're organizing events, managing budgets, or leading community service projects, you'll gain valuable experience that will serve you well in your future career.
Academic Support and Achievement: Our fraternities are making progress toward demonstrating academic success. With study groups, tutoring programs, and academic mentoring, you'll have the resources and support needed to excel in your studies.
Networking and Career Opportunities: Joining a fraternity opens doors to a vast network of alumni who are eager to help you succeed professionally. You'll find countless opportunities to advance your career, from internships to job placements.
