1. No prior coding experience is required.
2. General computer literacy and problem-solving aptitude are recommended.
3. By the end, you will create a responsive web application, present two short, recorded demos of your build, and be prepared for the OutSystems Associate Developer Certification exam. A certification voucher is included.

Outline of Program
Week 1: Welcome and program overview, career pathways in low-code, OutSystems Mentor AI and Agent Builder demo, introduction to OutSystems and cross-platform vision.
Week 2-4: Logic actions, data modelling, entities (static/dynamic), UI development, aggregates, forms, master-detail, logic flows, validations, debugging, role-based security, reusable blocks.
Week 5: Student app demos, peer and trainer feedback, project refinement.
Week 6-7: Client variables, screen events, SQL queries, REST APIs, custom theming and styling, UX improvement, code cleanup, performance tuning, app polishing.
Week 8: Final student app demo, certification overview, first mock exam and review.
Week 9-10: Second mock exam, exam strategies, readiness checks, certification support, results reflection, career coaching (LinkedIn, portfolio, interviews), graduation celebration!

No. This is a non‑credit certificate program delivered by GVSU’s continuing studies unit.
Graduates earn a GVSU certificate of completion. The program also includes a voucher to sit for the OutSystems Associate Developer exam after the course.
We issue the voucher at course conclusion.
You get pre‑recorded lectures plus optional live sessions each week. Live sessions function as workshops for Q&A and guided practice; recordings are provided. Attendance is recommended but not required.
