GVSU Health Hub is clearinghouse for online resources

A new resource for the campus community, the GVSU Health Hub, shares health and well-being resources, including updated information about MPV (monkeypox).

The Kent County Health Department is offering the MPV vaccine to individuals with risk behaviors in areas, events and venues with known transmission in the last 14 days. Criteria for vaccine eligibility is outlined online. The website also contains resources and general information about MPV.

CHAT

Edward Jones II, director of Student Health Services, has coordinated a Community Health Advisory Team of university employees and a representative from Trinity Health, which operates the Campus Health Center on the Allendale Campus. In a public health emergency, the roles of CHAT members will become more functional.
