Melvin Northup, retired professor of biology
Retired faculty member
Melvin
Northup, retired professor of biology, died October 26, 2023. He
was 85.
Northup joined Grand Valley's faculty in 1972 and retired in 2020, teaching in the Natural Resources Management Program, where his specialty was soil science and climatology.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Blandford Nature Center or the Soil and Water Conversation Society.
