Summer Movie Night: Wednesday, July 22, 7-9 p.m., Lubbers Stadium; "Zootopia 2" will play on the Jumbotron, free admission

Summer Scholars Showcase: Friday, July 31, 4-7 p.m., L. William Seidman Center; students who participate in Student Summer Scholars, Modified Student Summer Scholars, Library Scholars, Kindschi Fellows and McNair Scholars will give presentations

Pickleball Outing: Thursday, August 6, 5-8 p.m., GVSU outdoor tennis courts; the Laker tennis program will host a round-robin tournament with refreshments; register online, $35 per player with proceeds benefiting men's and women's tennis programs.

University Address: Wednesday, August 19, 11 a.m.-noon, Haas Performing Arts Center, Louis Armstrong Theatre; President Philomena V. Mantella will share remarks about the upcoming academic year
