GVSU Day of Giving is March 20.

GVSU’s annual Day of Giving is March 20. This is a special day just for Lakers to collectively show their support for Grand Valley and unite for student success.

With the theme "Lakers Give Back," anyone who is a Laker at heart is invited to support funds across campus including scholarships, academic programs, research, arts and more. Special challenge and match gifts mean the impact of a donor’s gift can be multiplied. Plus, anyone who gives $30 or more will receive an exclusive pair of GVSU socks. To explore the funds, view challenge gifts, and track campaign progress, visit the Day of Giving website.

Shannon Dale, senior director of annual giving and digital strategy for University Development, said: “Our annual Day of Giving is a powerful reminder that our collective generosity and commitment to student success are what make the Laker community so special. Every gift, no matter the size, helps create new opportunities and support the dreams of our students.”

On-campus celebrations are planned from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, in the Kirkhof Center lobby, Seidman Center lobby and the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences lobby. Students, faculty and staff are invited to enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities at all three locations. There will be free snacks, games, photo opportunities and ways to win donations for your favorite GVSU fund.
