LAKERS TOGETHER: Grand Valley is preparing for successful learning experiences when classes resume on Aug. 31. Learn more about the plan for fall in this handbook.
GVSU students and alumni have secured over $6,000,000 in (inter)nationally competitive award competitions, supporting a wide range of enriching experiences, including study abroad, graduate study, research, language study, teaching, service learning, internship, community and service opportunities.
The Frederik Meijer Office of Fellowships serves ALL students and alumni of GVSU, including all majors or areas of study. Many awards that we support specifically target underrepresented students in higher education.
Students and alumni considering applying to nationally and internationally competitive awards should first explore opportunities by using our website, searching fellowships databases, or otherwise exploring competitive awards of interest to them. We are happy to support applicants throughout this process.
Note: Students interested in GV internal and other local awards will be referred to other GVSU offices for assistance as these awards are outside our wheelhouse.
