Writing Center end-of-year party
Sunday, April 25, 2021
12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Each year, the Writing Center ends the year by honoring the hard work of its consultant staff and celebrating its graduating seniors. This year, our service has been 100% virtual, but we wanted to offer an in-person event for our staff to connect before leaving for the summer. We will be complying with all safety measures (social distancing, masks, self-assessment completed beforehand, limited attendance, etc.). If you see a sea of teal shirts on the Kirkhof lawn, please wave hello and help us in celebrating the year of the COVID crew.
We're here to assist you with any writing project, at any stage of your writing process. The center's well-trained peer consultants can help you to brainstorm ideas, organize content, integrate research, polish a draft, and correctly document sources.
Any graduate or undergraduate GVSU student can make an appointment or drop-in during any of our open hours. Faculty and staff interested in writing consultations for their own work and our other services can email Patrick Johnson, Writing Center Director (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We are here and ready to help students and faculty during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please visit our page to learn more about the services we are offering as well as the safety procedures we are putting in place in order to help protect students, staff, and the wider campus community.
Still have questions? Contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
