A cabin in the woods with snow on the ground

Come join us as we head north to explore scenic trails, breathtaking Lake Michigan shoreline views, and the peaceful wilderness surrounding the park. One of the highlights of the trip is experiencing Wilderness State Park's designation as an International Dark Sky Park. Far from city lights, the park offers incredible opportunities for stargazing, with clear views of the Milky Way, constellations, and, if conditions are right, even the northern lights.

This trip will strive to strike a balance between providing relaxing study-time with moments of active exploration around the park. We will be staying in a rustic bunkhouse with electricity and propane heated fireplace.

Dates: Dec 4th-6th

Cost: $85 per person

Includes: Transportation, lodging, continental breakfasts while in camp, skis/ snowshoes provided (pending weather), personal "camping" items available upon request.

Mandatory Pre-Trip Meeting: TBD

Registration: Coming soon
