Did you know that Michigan schools are not required to teach sex education? And if they do, the curriculum does not have to be comprehensive nor include information about consent, nor information about sexual orientation or gender identity?

Did your high school sex ed class leave you wanting more?

Join WIT Peer Educators to talk about some of the stuff that was left out: lube, virginity, communication, pleasure, pizza (we'll explain, we promise!), and more.

Recreation & Wellness is partnering with the Center for Women and Gender Equity, the GV Family Health Center, the Ottawa County Department of Public Health and the Kent County Health Department to provide a fun-filled week sharing sexual health education with GVSU students. The planning committee is student-led with student wants and needs in mind.
