The Music of Leo Sowerby: in partnership with Sacred Sounds at
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church
February 20th, 2022
5pm, St. Mark’s.
Leo Sowerby, a Grand Rapids native (1895-1968), was the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for music in 1946. This concert will highlight this local composer.
The concert will feature GVSU Music faculty Sookkyung Cho, Letitia Jap, Pablo Mahave-Veglia, Paul Carlson, Greg Crowell, and Kody Wallace; the University Arts Chorale; and GVSU students Lydia Seaver and Mac Wyn.
