Trout painting in water

John Ball Zoo is excited to welcome 10 tons of trash in the form of ocean artwork this season with Washed Ashore. Throw out your inhibitions about talking trash with your students with a little help from the Zoo. Get a sneak peek at some of the 16 Washed Ashore sculptures as they're being installed and early access to lessons to utilize in your classroom and during a Zoo visit.  You will experience lesson plans focused on art, water conservation, and plastic pollution to help engage students in conversations about taking action for wildlife and wild places.  Dinner is included.
