Seminar for Rising Sophomore and Junior Students: Making Meaning: Mindfulness and Telling the/a Story of Self: focused each day on several key elements of most fellowship applications (commitments, character, leadership, aspiration, and ambition), with morning meetings and time each afternoon for journaling and reflection. The end product of the seminar is a collection of very short essays (germinating seeds for future application essays) and a map for the remaining years of college. Time commitment: one and a half hours each of three days, plus journaling and reflection time.

Facilitated by B. Tooley, Center for Undergraduate Scholar Engagement and presented by the Frederik Meijer Office of Fellowships.
