Reception for 'Honest & Unrefined: Art Outside the Academy' | GV Arts Celebration

Join us on Thursday, September 30th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm to kick-off of the Grand Valley State University Arts Celebration!

Enjoy refreshments and opening remarks under a tent on the east lawn of the Kirkhof Center, then visit the exhibition Honest & Unrefined: Art Outside the Academy at the GVSU Art Gallery in the Haas Center for Performing Arts. Opening remarks will be given at 5:30pm, and guest Curator Reb Roberts will be available in the gallery afterward to share insights about the artwork in the exhibition.

RSVP recommended. All guests are required to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines (wear a mask, stay home if you're feeling sick, stay 6 feet apart when possible indoors). GVSU students will be asked to scan their LakerLink Event Pass at check-in.
