Paul Isley, Ph.D., will discuss the impact of higher education and, more specifically, Grand Valley State University on the State of Michigan. With more than 60% of registered voters questioning the value of a college degree, it has become important to detail the positive economic effects of obtaining a degree. Isely will present how these positive economic effects impact individuals, businesses, and, collectively, the State of Michigan. This culminates in a $3 billion impact on the state’s economy.
