The Graduate School's PACES Professional Development Program will be hosting several sessions and workshops throughout the Winter 2024 semester. This workshop will be held in person on the Pew Campus.

This workshop is in collaboration with the Graduate Student Organization and will focuses on What is LinkedIn and Maximizing LinkedIn Usage. Katie Cwiakala, from the GVSU Career Center, will be presenting.

Tuesday, March 19, 2024 11:00-1:00 p.m. The location details will be shared before the workshop. Pizza will be provided. 

We will break the time up into two one sections, and you are welcome to attend whichever session(s) best suits you. 

  • Session 1: What is LinkedIn?
    • Purpose of utilizing LinkedIn
    • Creating a strong account/profile
  • Session 2: Maximizing LinkedIn Usage
    • Making connections
    • Searching for jobs
    • Connecting with GVSU Alumni
