Mission

For the November 2025 session of Open Minds, we will be reading and discussing Mission, Tribe & Grace: How Veterans Can Lead Change, Find Their Tribe, and Build a Meaningful Life by Jill Hinton Wolfe. We are excited to share that Jill will be joining us for this meeting!

"When you take off the uniform, you don’t stop being a leader. But navigating life after military service can feel like stepping into uncharted territory—searching for purpose, connection, and a new way to serve. Mission, Tribe & Grace is a powerful guide for those who want to take the skills they’ve honed in service and apply them to make a real impact in their communities and beyond."

The discussion for this book will be held on Wednesday, November 19, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Richard M. DeVos Center’s Meijer Regency Room located on the GVSU City Campus.

Free copies of the book will be mailed to GVSU students who register by midnight on October 23rd.
