Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community. The Lambda Xi Chapter at Grand Valley State University was established on April 19, 1986, focusing on brotherhood, networking, professional development and philanthropy. The previous Assistant Dean of the Seidman College of Business, Dean Reifel, assisted in the development and implementation of the Lambda Xi Chapter of the International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi on Grand Valley State University's campus. Today, more than 478 Grand Valley Students have been initiated into the fraternity through the Lambda Xi chapter and we are constantly searching for new prospective members to continue our rich tradition at GVSU.
